Blue Aarvark is short for Screaming Blue Aardvark
(it's too bad IMVU doesn't allow names that are just a few characters longer).
Where did I get my name from? I attended a university in the Los Angeles area, Azusa Pacific University. While there, one of the radio stations I listened to was KROQ (FM 106.7). One of the DJs there, at that time in the late 80's, had named the request lines 'Screaming Anteater Lines'. My junior year there was a band that got a lot of radio play on KROQ called the Screaming Blue Messiahs. On a slow day at my computer lab assistent job, I combined the names and made a sign which said 'Home of the Screaming Blue Aardvark' with a cartoon of an aardvark and I stuck it on my apartment door. I've been using the name since.
I found this video really funny (partially because I have a warped sense of humor). But even with the humor, they still managed to be respectful.
